Vive Mexico

If time flies when you're having fun, then what does it do when you're having a blast? It DISAPPEARS!!!

I am not sure what happened to the month of July but I do know that it is August 3rd already and I am not okay with it.... Oh the places I have gone and the people I have met have been an absolute treat, I had no expectations when I came here with Amanda and I think this has made it soooo much better! We have received the "local discount" the past few weeks, have finally stopped getting asked by the street vendors to buy their cheap Cosas, and are able to ride our bikes on the Principal street and see people we know and are friends with.... Its a absolute dream for me ;) I wish I could come here and be a permanent resident at some points, however I know that it is also time to get back to life and to get back to a schedule that includes making money... Ha

This past week has been exciting, I went night snorkeling, sailing on boats (we had to be the crew and race against the Stars and Stripes), and have now certified in scuba diving!! The diving here is great, absolutely breathtaking... The coral looks like the world of Dr Seuss, the fish are so bright and beautiful, and the sea life ranged from bull sharks, eels, HUGE lobsters, turtles, and all sorts of various creatures... Insane and fantastic!  Today I did my first official dive as a open water certified diver, wahoo! We traveled through the world of The Little Mermaid :)

The weather has been so stinking HOT, going outside between 12-5 is a death wish unless you are submerged in water...
I am excited to go to Utah next week and then back to DC but I am nervous because I have gotten so use to the humidity here and love the moisture in my skin and hair.

To follow are a bunch of pics showing some people and activities i have been doing... Hope you enjoy and most likely I will write next when I am back on American soil... Oh yeah, olympics time.... GO TEAM USA USA USA USA USA
